n: a part of a LACT unit installed ahead of the metering equipment to separate and remove mass volumes of air and gas from the fluid.

n: the distribution of oil or gas produced from a well per unit of time. In a state using proration, this figure is established monthly by its conservation agency.

n: 1. a part of a LACT unit that removes foreign particles from the crude. which might disrupt the operation of closetolerance moving parts. 2. a device placed upstream of a meter to remove foreign material from the stream that might damage the meter or interfere with its operation. The strainer element is generally coarser than a filter designed to remove solid contaminants.

n: a pump that pressures the crude oil from the stock tank through a LACT unit.
