n: Mined lignite, usually leonardite, to which chromate has been added and/or reacted. The lignite can also be causticized with either sodium or potassium hydroxide. The chrome lignite is used for rheology stabilization and filtration control of the drilling

This is the point at which interstate and intrastate pipelines sell and deliver gas to local distribution companies. Usually built adjacent to a natural gas transmission line in a sparsely populated area on the outskirts of a population centre. Also called city gas station, town border station.
