n: The phenomenon that the cuttings accumulate in the wellbore because flushing cannt clean the wellbore timely in the drilling programe. It is one of the most important affecting factor of bit penetration.

n: a submersible pump configuration in which the pump and die motor sections are reversed, with the pump intake through a stinger at the bottom of the unit. It is used where casing size prohibits the desired production volume because of tubing friction loss or pump diameter restriction.

n: a type of mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) that has a part of its structure in contact with the seafloor when it is on site and drilling a well. The remainder of the rig is supported above the water. The rig can float. however, allowing it to be moved from one drill site to another. n: the portion of the drilling assembly below the drill pipe. It can be very simple - composed of only the bit and drill collars - or it can be very complex and made up of several drilling tools.
