an older perforating method where hardened steel bullets were fired from short barrels and designed to penetrate the casing, cement and formation.

n: a tubular device that, when lowered to a selected depth within a well, fires bullets through the casing to provide holes through which the formation fluids may enter the wellbore.

n: A kind of tubing device, tripped in to the predetermined depth, ejecting bullet and breaking through cement stone and casing to form a passage of oil and gas.

v: to cause the pump on a pumping unit to hit the bottom of the well by having too long a sucker rod string in the unit.
