n: a device made up in the casing string into which the bottom of the tubing string is placed. or landed.

n: a close tolerance bore at the top of a liner;may be used to stab in with a seal assembly, e.g. aspart of a monobore completion.

A polished bore, typical in a packer to accept the seal assembly on the end of tubing.
