(atm) n: a unit of pressure equal to the atmospheric pressure at sea level, 14.7 pounds per square inch (101.325 kilopascals)

n: The knockout drum that removes the gas invading into the drilling fluid inatmosphere pressure.

n: (Pl. darcys) a unit of measure of permeability. A porous medium has a permeability of 1 darcy when differential pressure of 1 atmosphere across a sample 1 centimetre long and I square centimetre in cross section will force a liquid of 1 centipoise of viscosity through the sample at the rate of 1 cubic centimetre per second. The permeability of reservoir rocks is usually so low that it is measured in millidarcys.

n: A unit of permeability. A porous medium has a permeability of 1 darcy when a pressure of 1 atm on a sample 1 cm long and 1 sq cm in cross section will force a liquid of 1 cP viscosity through the sample at the rate of 1 cc per sec.

abbr: million standard cubic feet. The standard referred to is usually 60�F and 1 atmosphere (14.7 pounds per square inch) of pressure, but it varies from state to state.

n: at ground level, one of the primary ingredients in smog and a poisonous form of pure oxygen. Smog ozone is created by sunlight acting on nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds in the air. Ozone high in the atmosphere forms the Earths main shield against the suns ultraviolet radiation.
