There is usually a hierarchy of customers for the curtailment plan based on priority of usage according to established regulatory standards of priority. A customer may be required to cut back partially or totally to eliminate this take of gas, depending on the severity of the shortfall between gas sup- ply and demand and the customers position in the hierarchy.
