n: bending of pipe that may occur because of hole deviation. Pipe may bend because of the angle of the hole or because of an abrupt deviation such as a dogleg.

n: A wellbore that has deviated from the vertical. Crooked holes usually occur where there is a section of alternating hard and soft strata steeply inclined from the horizontal.
