n: the amount of pressure exerted inside the drill pipe as a result of circulating pressure, entry of formation pressure into the well, or both.

n: the pressure at which a well is circulated during wellkilling procedures after kill-weight mud has filled the drill stem. This pressure is maintained until the well is completely filled with kill-weight mud.

Pressure losses occur as the fluid is circulated.

n: (SIDPP) pressure of the drilling fluid on the inside of the drill stem. It is used to measure the difference between hydrostatic pressure and formation pressure when a well is shut in after a kick and the mud pump is off and to calculate the required mud-weight increase to kill the well.
