n: the cutting or boring element used in drilling oil and gas wells. The bit consists of a cutting element and a circulating element. The cutting element is steel teeth, tungsten carbide buttons, industrial diamonds, or polycrystalline diamonds (PDCs). The circulating element permits the passage of drilling fluid and utilises the hydraulic force of the fluid stream to improve drilling rates. In rotary drilling, several drill collars are joined to the bottom end of the drill pipe column, and the bit is attached to the end of the drill collars.

a drill bit, commonly either a roller cone, button bit, PDC, diamond or drag bit, used with a rotary string or a mud motor to drill through rock.
سرمته

n: a process of molecular bridging of polymers with other chemical substances that alters viscosity and shear rates to enhance lifting of bit cuttings and increase drilling rates.

n: the speed with which the bit drills the formation;usually called the rate of penetration (ROP).

n: refer to penetration rate
سرعت پیشروی

ثبات سرعت حفر

n: the relational expression which can express the relation among the drilling controllable premeter, uncontrollable premeter
and drilling rate

n: the factor responding the relationship beween other factors and drilling rate when the drilling pressure ,rotate speed and the abrasion of the tooth are constant

n: the factor responding the relationship beween other factors and drilling rate when the drilling pressure ,rotate speed , the abrasion degree of the tooth ,hydraulic premeter and pressure difference are constant

n: the bit which is easy to abrade and with which the drilling rate is low because of ill selected material or harmful fabrication

n: the bump generating when the drilling rate does’t increase linearly any more whatever increase the drilling pressure or the rotate speed or increase the both

n: a chemical used to lighten the water column in gas wells, in oilwells producing gas, and in drilling wells in which air or gas is used as the drilling fluid so that the water can be forced out with the air or gas to prevent its impeding the production or drilling rate. See mist drilling.
