n: a gas measurement device that consists of a mutiple-ported Pitot tube installed inside a pipe through which gas is flowing;it is installed perpendicular to the flow of gas. The length of the annubar is equal to the diameter of the pipe in which it is installed. An annubar senses the difference between total flowing pressure and static pressure;gas volume is calculated from this difference. See Pitot tube.

bottom hole flowing pressure.

The pressure at the bottom of the well. In a producing well the BHP may be the bottom hole flowing pressure or the bottom hole shut-in pressure. In a drilling or workover environment, the BHP is exerted by the column of fluid in the hole.

n: a device fitted to a proving tank to indicate the position of the liquid surface in relation to the reference mark corresponding to the nominal capacity of the proving tank, thus enabling the determination of the tanks liquid contents. capacity rating n: a rating equal to the maximum number of cubic feet of gas that will pass through a meter when the pressure differential across the meter equals a 0.5- inch water column and the flowing pressure is 0.25 psig.
