an indefinite term, usually meaning one or more departures from a mother bore. May be used in some areas to mean a high angle well bore.

n: in conventional electric logging. the curve drawn on the log by a device on an electric logging tool that is designed to measure formation resistivity about 36 feet (11 metres) from the wellbore.

n: a resistivity log taken with a sonde that focuses an electrical current laterally, away from the wellbore, and into the formation being logged.
