n: a big and thick pipe in the choker line ,usually used to decrease the fluid speed so as to decreace the flushing to the pipe fittings

n: a projecting rim or edge (as on pipe fittings and openings in pumps and vessels),usually drilled with holes to allow bolting to other flanged fittings.

a common, high pressure wellhead connection, using bolt attached flange plates and metal-to-metal seals.

n pi: bundles of smalldiameter tubing tack-welded together in a concentric pattern and placed in the upstream section of an orifice-meter run for the purpose of reducing considerably the amount of straight pipe required upstream of the orifice. They eliminate swirls and crosscurrents set up by the pipe fittings and valves preceding the meter tube.
