n: a bird that moves (migrates) from one place to another, usually in connection with changing seasons. During times of migration, such birds, especially those attracted to bothes of water, may choose to rest in a drilling rigs reserve pit. To prevent harm to the birds, rig owners place netting over the pit so that they cannot alight in the liquid in the pit.
