n: an accessory attached to the top of the casing to facilitate cementing of the casing. It has passages for cement slurry and retainer chambers for cementing wiper plugs. Also called retainer head.

n: The servicing unit installed in the top of casing string for cementing. It is installed with rubber plug and connected with cement injection line.

a device attached to the top of the casing that allows connection of the flush and cement lines and allows plugs to be dropped. Special models may allow the cement to be rotated during cementing.
