n: A kind of non-ionics, used as foaming agent and emulsifier of foam drilling fluid.

n: A kind of anionic surface active agent, usually used as frother, sometimes as the emulsifier in the foam drilling fluid. The symbol is AS.

n: an aluminum salt of stearic acid used as a defoamer. See stearate.

Because tubing can be lowered into a well without having to make up joints of tubing, running coiled tubing into the well is faster and less expensive than running conventional tubing.
